Default Do badminton professionals make a decent living?

Do professional badminton players make a good living? I'm talking about at the top international level. Is badminton big enough that sponsors and such can afford to pay professionals liberally? Or is it the type of thing where it's extremely difficult to do as a profession, and most professionals have to work a side job as training or doing something else on the side?

It really depends on who you are of course. If the professional in question has won quite a few major tournaments, he will be sponsored and paid by the racket company and the winnings are quite a lot. Their housing and food and transportation is paid by their Country.

Yeah, I think they do make a good living these days. In India, they do get government jobs as well.
